Liberty Township, OH, and Old Town - Robert M. Cust, 58, passed away in his sleep with his wife by his side, November 18, 2016. He was born in Portsmouth, VA, March 20, 1958, the son of retired Navy Captain Harlan R. Cust and Carole A. (Paradis) Cust. He attended schools in Naples, Italy, Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA, and the University of Maine at Orono. Bob was an officer for the Norfolk International Airport Police Department for 16 years before opening a Mailboxes, Etc. store in Brandon, FL. He and his family relocated to Middletown, OH, in 2004, where he became the owner and operator of Box & Shipping Center. In January 2011, he closed his business and retired due to medical reasons. Bob loved spending time with his family and was extremely proud of his son, Daniel. Bob is survived by his wife of 23 years, Melinda and his son, Daniel of Liberty Township, OH; his father, Harlan R. Cust of Old Town; brother, Scott Cust of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Michelle Kauppila and husband, Jim; and four nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by his mother, Carole Ann (Paradis) Cust.
