Hudson - Patricia M. "Patsy" Babin, 74, passed away peacefully September 17, 2016. She was born in Old Town, January 8, 1942, the daughter of Joseph Lester and Jeanette Yvonne (Maheu) Gifford. Patsy was an outgoing woman whose children and grandchildren were her joy in life. She was a "Mother and Nana to all". Patsy was a strong and giving woman whose bubbly personality and outlook will be forever remembered, never complaining a day in her life. She lit up every room she was in and took charge of every situation. She was a strong woman of faith and prayer in her life. Patsy loved to knit and crochet, gardening, and was known for her baked ham dinner for the Brewer School system's teacher's luncheon. She was employed at St. Joseph Hospital for many years and retired from Sunbury health care. She is survived by two children, Terri Severance and her husband, Stan of Brewer and Gregory Babin and special friend, Kim Jackson of Hudson; two grandchildren, whom she adored, Dylan and Logan Severance of Brewer; a brother, Fred Gifford and his wife, Paulette of Bradley; and a special nephew, Bruce Geroux of Veazie; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and wonderful friends in her life.
