Laura Linnie (Boober) Shorey

Laura Linnie Shorey, 92, went to her Lord and Savior on October 17, 2021. Laura was born in Howland, ME, the daughter of William and Ethel (White) Boober. Laura was predeceased by her husband Burleigh; son Glendon; siblings Leslie, Harlow, Dorothy, and Gilbert; and recently by her daughter Barbara and husband Bob Finch.

Laura was a devoted wife and mother of six children and their spouses: Brenda and Steve Johnston, Barbara and Bob Finch, Glendon Shorey, Bill and Sandy Shorey, Burleigh and Kathy Shorey, Kevin and Andrea Shorey; 9 grandchildren: Matt Finch, Sarah Finch, Justin Shorey, Joshua Shorey, Meagan Shorey-Wilson, Kristen Shorey, Isaac Shorey, Jeremiah Shorey and Caleb Shorey; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday 11:00 am, November 6, 2021, at the United Baptist Church, Old Town, Maine, the Rev. Bruce Stevens officiating.
