Larry W. Leighton Greenbush-Larry W. Leighton, 68, died September 6, 2013 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Greenbush. He was born May 5, 1945 in Ellsworth a son of Harry W. and Bertha H. (Strout) Leighton. At a young age, Larry joined the Marines and proudly served his country during Vietnam. He was then employed for many years as a steel worker in Oklahoma and Maine. Larry was a German Shepard and a Coon Cat breeder. He was very proud that many of his animals were blue ribbon winners. He is survived by a sister Judy Cyr of Orono. He was predeceased by his parents. Private burial services will be conducted at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
