Old Town - Ken 'Chicken' Cyr, 63, died March 20, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. He was born October 6, 1953 in Old Town a son of Kenneth Henry and Doris Lucille (Hamel) Cyr. Ken, or "Chicken" as he was known, was employed at the Old Town paper mill for over 40 years. He enjoyed watching Nascar and spending time at hunting camp on Main Stream. He was a member of the Elks. He is survived by daughter Jennifer Schenck and her husband Jeffrey of CO; 3 grandchildren Garrett, Isaac, and Lilliana; brother Larry Cyr and his wife Cathy of MA; sister Donna Shorette and her husband Ken of Alton. He was predeceased by his parents. Friends may gather 6-8PM Friday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Spring burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
