Drake "Ducky" Alvah Sechrest Obituary (2015 - 2017)

Howland - Drake 'Ducky' Alvah Sechrest, 1, passed away unexpectedly in Alton, May 19, 2017. He was born in Bangor, December 10, 2015, the son of Nick Sechrest and Catie Carroll, and the little brother to Caiden Sechrest. Drake was a happy and bubbly baby who was beloved by all he met. He loved to dance and play outdoors. Drake had a big personality, which showed in all of his facial expressions. Drake will be dearly missed by his parents, Nick and Catie; his brother, Caiden Nicholas; grandparents, Sandra Sechrest, Jory Sechrest and fiancée, Cathy Bishop, Christian and Tammie Carroll; great-grandmothers, Linda Wood, Marie Sechrest and Louise Carroll; uncles, Christian Carroll II and wife, Becca, Lesley Carroll and wife, Carol; aunts, Amber Sechrest, Trista Sechrest and Meaghan Pearson. He is also survived by his cousins, CJ, Gavin, Cami, Brandon, Aiden, Nia, Revan and Silas; very special cousins, Ari Hesseltine, Tara Pressey, Michael and Kayla Bouchard; his babysitter, Kristina Smart; as well as many extended family. Drake was predeceased by his "Big Grampy", John Alvah Wood. The family invites relatives and friends to call, 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, Old Town. Services will be private for the family. Those who wish to remember Drake in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the Sechrest/Carroll family, c/o Peoples Bank or envelopes will be available at the funeral home during the calling hours.
